I just heard that KRISS is going to release an updated version of the Vector, named K10 which will replace the former model.
That's what the prototype looks like. It features a sliding stock (instead of a folding one) and a quad rail on the front. Now I don't now about you, but I think this looks ugly as hell
The sliding stock looks fine and is probably much more practical, but what were they thinking with that quad rail? I know that aesthetics isn't the main concern when designing weapons, but this doesn't even look useful. Why would they ditch the monolithic top rail and move the front sight to the back?
Well, maybe it's just a very early prototype. What do you think?
I guess that quad rail presents versatility, which is good for changing military operations, but I agree that it looks ugly and I much prefer the first Vector. What’s worse, KWA delayed the production of their GBB Vector replica, presented at Shot Show 2011, because they were going to produce the K10 instead. Thankfully, due to EVIKE’s recent video, it looks like both the K10 and KRISS Vector models will be entering the airsoft market. Here is a video of KWA's SHOT Show 2011 presentation in regards to the KRISS and K10:
